Peppermint Mocha lattes are one of those coffees I look forward to when October hits its end. I'm about done with pumpkin spice and my taste buds are excited about tasting all things Christmas.
I'm a Starbucks gold member. I take my coffee seriously.
I also have a husband who ponders over why I won't just make the coffee myself. My plight. It's Starbucks.

So, I went out on a limb and tested some recipes. My girls (and my Starbucks partners in life) tested them with me.
What happened?
A Peppermint Mocha latte that spills over with Christmas L.O.V.E.
So I'm going to share it with you.
First a note. Machines are important here. While something good could likely be accomplished with coffee, I have to be honest here. Lattes are made with espresso. The quality of good espresso can only come from a good espresso machine (and, of course, good espresso itself).
After going through a few espresso makers, I've found the Breville Infuser to gift me with a beautiful, rich espresso. I also use a Breville Smart Grinder Pro, a cone Burr grinder.
A side note about cone burr grinders such as the Smart Grinder Pro, it grinds beans for whatever coffee you'd like to make as well as espresso, so you get coarse to very fine grinds from this machine. I've found it one of the best home grinders out there at a very reasonable cost.
The two together make a some good stuff in the coffee department. I found myself playing with these two for days, just making all sorts of coffees and recipes that I'll likely share here.
But onto the good stuff...the latte recipe. I've also included some links for some of the products I've used to create the flavors in this latte. Please keep in mind that your end product may be different depending on the products you use.
